Hi, Jeffy! You're probably just hitting the end of the Honeymoon, which usually is the biggest down/up swing in TSM. The same kind of patter repeats to a lesser degree throughout TSM though, so don't worry about it, that's just the nature of TSM. But if you can break up some habits to cut the upticks down to size, do so. In general, just kind of look for where TSM might be making some soft spots in your drinking habit (like maybe starting 15 minutes later than usual, or try keeping a NA drink close to you and your regular drink further away, don't drink when you're on the phone, etc.). This can be a good time to work on active drinking reduction/moderation techniques while Nal is working in the background on bringing the next wave of passive drinking reduction.
Hey. Yes I am keeping a log but 3 of the weeks I missed because I was on vacation in January. So my log isn't totally accurate. But I took my medication with me and have been 100%compliant since starting on Christmas. I just got worried cause these last 2 weeks I noticed an uptick. And also got fairly drunk the other day which I have so far managed to avoid since starting. I'm just hoping my numbers start trending down.
Hi jeffy123, I am in week 16 and I can attest that I experienced a significant uptick in my drinking after I started, even 8, 9, 10, 11 weeks in, but now it is starting to trend down again. You can see my numbers in my progress thread if you are interested. It really scared me and I was feeling awful about it, but after a lot of soul-searching I realized I was offloading the responsibility for temperance to the Nal, and I needed to practice more mindful drinking on my own as well. I'm starting to see results now. You hang in there, it's early days.
